Would definitely come again!

The location is amazing: close to numerous subway and bus stations, yet in a quiet residential neighbourhood! Cleanliness is good, we were given freshly cleaned towels daily. Staff was kind and helpful. We were given a room as high as possible as we requested, thank you!

The beds are quite stiff and the lighting could be better. We missed an elevator but it’s ok, we knew about it before coming :)

For a reasonable get your head down hotel this place is perfect.

Location is amazing! Super clean, friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. The shower in our room was fantastic.

No lift be prepared to climb stairs if your on higher floors. No air conditioning but fan provided high on wall with remote control.

Paddington Station overnight

The location was exceptional, just steps from Paddington Station, but the property was distressed and partially under renovation. The room was very small and the ensuite bath had barely enough room to turn around in. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the beds were comfortable.

Short, sweet, pleasant

Location was perfect , walking distance to Paddington station, Hyde park , tubes etc. Hotel definitely needed some TLC . Price with group of us worked out cheap so all we needed for our one night stay.

Decor, stairs with some strange tape/lining all over it which wasn’t very appealing . Could do with some TLC

OK.

Location was everything. Was happy to get a ground floor room as requested.

Stained bedlinen and headboard that was scruffy shedding old covering and needing to be recovered. Feel more body wash/ shampoo could have been provided. Similar hotels attach bottles to the shower wall which pump out from the bottom.

Great price and great location for a cozy stay.

The price was great for the position of the hotel. It was well connected and easy to reach, easy as a base to explore the city, even as a first time visitor. Judging from the prices of other accomodations, I was surprised in seeing how central the place still was, I imagined it was further away from main attractions. The tube is very close, buses are handy to reach many parts of the city. For the price I paid I definitely expected the place to be less downtown. It's so close to many good places to eat at all time of day. The staff was really kind and helpful, always welcoming us with a smile and ready to help. Being foreigners and not so used to the language it was lovely to find a welcoming and patient environment. And when we asked for help to reach the airport, they were also very quick with a ready solution, we just had to ask. The room was small but well kept and clean which for me has been the most important thing, definitely cozy. The dimensions are something, I think, you can't really solve if you're dealing with an old house without doing some massive renovations, but it keeps the fascination of an old house, and adds to the experience. Sure it's something to keep in consideration according to one's preferences and needs, but for the price offered I think one can't really expect to have a double suite with a private living room. It was clean and well kept, and it had all the necessities (kettle, tea and coffee, towels, soap, hairdryer, sheets and towel, the aforementioned fan, a tv).

The building is clearly built to keep warmth in during winter, but during a heatwave it was counterproductive. I know changing windows is a lot of work and money, but the current one was a little ruined and it didn't open so widely as to let some fresh air in. I would not trust to leave the fan on all night (partly cultural, partly for the noise). Just bad luck on my part in staying here during a particularly hot climate, surely, but I hope this can be helpful. The bathroom was very basic, it's not something terrible in any way and I made do (again, for the price I never expected something exceedingly fancy), but having a hanger to leave the towel to dry would have been nice. Nothing strictly necessary, the towels are changed daily so it matters little, but still maybe it can be implemented fairly easily if the structure is reading.

What was the highlight of Linden House Hotel

It is sufficient for a clean room near Paddington in which to sleep, but its nothing special.

The room and bathroom were clean (though the closet area looked like it could use a deeper clean). The beds were reasonably comfortable. The window opened onto a balcony, letting in air and natural light. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location near Paddington and several good reasonable restaurants (we had great food at a breakfast spot, Paramount Lebanese, and an Indian restaurant) was great for us. Also near Hyde Park and Mayfair and walkable to many central neighborhoods. Like any good English hotel room, our room had an electric kettle, tea bags, milk (sorely lacking in U.S. hotels!) as well as instant coffee.

There was barely enough room in our "triple" for two people and our luggage. When we got there, the hotel felt shabby and cheap; it screamed "budget hotel." The carpet on hallway and stairs badly in need of vacuuming. (Fortunately they were vacuumed the next morning). Black dust, maybe from the balcony, blew in the window onto my bed, but it was too warm to close the window entirely. Fortunately we were dead tired or the street noise might have bothered it. The room did not have a safe.

Value for money. I went for basic option basement room. It satisfied my needs. Staff were polite friendly and helpful

Work kit in basement - no doubt ongoing projects so unavoidable. To be fair the room was in the basement as a brief stay cheap option. Thunder and lightning caused a little noise in drains - to be expected with basement room I guess

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. Water pressure was great. Close to Paddington without having to be in the fray.

Only thing that was an issue with me but could be easily fixed was internet spotty in the mornings when I needed it.

Great location

Location was really good as we were attending a festival at Hyde park, it’s also very close to London Paddington. Hotel room was on the ground floor which was handy as we travelled with young children. Tv worked and shower had good water pressure. Staff were friendly on arrival and departure. Good value for money for a family room considering we were only in there for a few hours to rest our heads it did the job perfectly.

Beds were a little hard for my liking, it was also unbearably hot in our room despite turning on the small fan on the wall.
